We are excited to announce Poorya Mortazavi will be joining GA Rush as member to our 2019-20 coaching staff.

Poorya holds a UEFA “B” coaching license and brings a great deal of experience from working in England, Mexico, and here in the United States. Before moving to Atlanta Poorya was the DOC at James Island Soccer Club in Charleston S.C. In his time here in the metro Atlanta area he has worked at SSA and Moba soccer where he has excelled in player development.

Poorya is also the DOC for the Atlanta Futsal program on the Northside and adds another phase of player development to our staff and club members. After coming to terms with the club Poorya stated, “I am extremely excited to be joining the Rush family and working with the new leadership and existing staff. Having all the benefits and tools that Rush offers our staff and members to develop not only here in Georgia, but nationally, and internationally is something that other clubs in the area cannot offer”.
