Individual Camp Information
Camp Philosophy
Sports Quest is a non profit 501(c)(3), professional soccer training organization dedicated to promoting and developing the game of soccer at all levels in a Christian environment.
The Individual Camp Program (emphasizing individual skill development) provides a fun-filled and educational soccer experience for children aged 5-12 years.
Each camp offers a unique opportunity for players to develop their technical and tactical soccer skills and at the same time, addresses key issues related to the spiritual and character development.
The camp curriculum is carefully constructed to meet the needs of today's young people both on and off the soccer field.
Camp Program
The camp program is designed to challenge male and female soccer players, regardless of age or ability (previous playing experience is not necessary).
The training exercises presented each day are exciting, game related and realistic, and are conducted in an environment ideal for player development and improvement. The training method revolves around maximum participation, maximum touches on the ball and maximum fun! An Individual Camp typically involves:
*Individual technical and tactical training (dribbling, shooting, passing etc)
*Group / team tactical training
*Dynamic small-sided games
*Latest, most up to date, training methods
*Players grouped according to age, experience and ability
*Daily Christian message
*Daily competitions with special prizes
*Free hand-stitched soccer ball
*Free camp T-shirt
*Daily awards and other commemorative camp gifts
Special Information
*Campers should arrive at least 15 minutes early on the first day of camp
*Water and / or Powerade will be provided. However, campers may also bring their own liquid refreshments
*Apply sunscreen before (and even throughout) each day of camp
*Campers must be equipped with shin-guards and appropriate clothing and footwear (cleats / turf shoes if possible)
