Rebels Soccer Club is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt youth soccer organization. We are a competitive soccer club fielding teams for girls and boys ages 9-19 . The Rebels SC serves the cities of Champlin, Dayton, Brooklyn Park and surrounding communities. Rebels SC is affiliated with the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association, the statewide youth soccer organization for Minnesota. The Rebels SC goal is to provide a fun, safe, and educational soccer environment, for youth players ages 4 to 18. Our board of directors is committed to providing each child with an environment that instills and nurtures a love of the game. Developing technical skills, fitness, team play, and "just having fun", are our objectives for the children. The Clyde Andrews Sports Complex on 117th Ave, is our "home" site. We also utilize several other City of Champlin sports facilities. The league enjoys a very cooperative and beneficial relationship with the City of Champlin. Due to the City's first-class maintenance staff, we have some of the finest fields in all of Minnesota.

Programs Offered
Competitive Soccer is designed for those players who want to step up their game and want to test their skills by playing against higher competition. Rebels SC offers highly qualified trainers and coaches to its competitive teams and the opportunity to compete in both league and tournament play. Tryouts for Traveling Soccer are done in August of every year; a roster must be submitted to MYSA by March 3rd, although teams may pick up additional players after that date. Regular Season Games run from May thru Mid-July for U9 - U18. Spring practice usually starts in Mid-Late April for U9-U18 teams. Competitive teams have the option to participate in Tournaments thru-out the seven Minnesota county metro areas and some may even travel out of state. There are usually three divisions per age group, teams usually start at C3 and as they progress, they may work their way up to a C1 division.

C1 Teams usually practice three days per week, and may participate in a Regional or State level (State Cup) tournament at the end of the season. They may also participate in multiple local, in-state, or even out-of-state tournaments based on the level that they have achieved and as a decision made by the Coach and the Team Members.

C2 Teams usually practice two times per week. They may participate in the State Cup at the end of the season. C2 teams usually participate in a couple of local tournaments during the year and may participate in an out-of-town tournament at the end of the year at the discretion of the Coach and Team Members.

C3 Teams are usually those teams that have recently moved into the competitive program. They practice two times per week, and may participate in a couple of local tournaments.

Under 9 & Under 10 Development – Maroon (Competitive) and Gold (Skill building) levels. Skill building levels. League play against local teams. Winter training starts in January with 1 training session per week. In the spring and summer, teams train 1-2 times per week with league games on weeknights and local tournaments on weekends. Teams play 6v6 – 25 minutes periods.

U11-U18 Girls and Boys Teams are selected through an annual tryout process. Tryouts are held in late July.  U9/U10 player evaluations will be held if there are enough players at each group to form two or more teams - Player evaluations will be held prior to team formation.
