WEEK 2 Re-Cap

An exciting Week two game this past Saturday as the Southeastern Blues came away with a tough 2-1 victory over Pitch Equipment at GWU field #7. Another stand out defensive effort by the entire Blues team as through two games now we have outscored the opposition 5-1. Malachi Zehnder started the scoring for the Blues on a beautiful crossing pass from Gracie Patrick from the left corner to put the Blues up 1-0 at the half. In the second half the Blues continued to play extremely well defensively and kept the attack strong, eventually scoring a second goal by midfielder Austin Roderick to go up 2-1. Now standing at 2-0 on the season, the Blues look to continue their fast start this coming Saturday when they take on Monroe Tire at GWU field #2.
