GLLL's 2023 HIT-A-THON fundraiser is now live. CLICK HERE to donate

On November 4th at 5:00pm, all of our players will have an opportunity to compete for great prizes and show off their baseball skills while helping give back to the league that gives so much to them. At the event players have 5 chances to hit the ball and see how far it goes. The best of the 5, for Tee Ball-Majors, will become their recorded score. For JR/SR it will be combined total of the 5 hits.
Sponsors are asked to make a "per foot" pledge (the average hit may be about $75 feet) or just a pledge for a flat amount of money. All donations are tax deductible! GLLL is a 501(c)(3).
Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 individuals who fundraise the most money.
Each division will have its own Hit-A-Thon winner and there will be a group prize for the top fundraising team.

What is a HIT-A-THON?

Players obtain sponsors who donate flat donations or "per foot" donations. All players are expected to participate. Each player will receive 5 hits or 10 pitches. Tee ball will hit off of a tee. The longest hit for each player is recorded. For JR/SR division it will be the total length of hits combined. Up to 5 hits or 10 pitches.

Why a HIT-A-THON?

With no fixed cost or items to deliver, this is a fun way for players to collect donations from friends and relatives regardless of where they live.

How do players collect pledges?

Each player has their own profile on 99pledges.com to share via social media or email. Donations can be made via credit card or debit card. Players can also collect cash or check donations and submit them manually.

When is the HIT-A-THON?

Saturday November 4th at 5pm. Players should wear their team uniforms and bring helmets and bats.

What will the funds be used for?

Concession improvements. Our concession needs many things! First thing will be a new concession floor. Any remaining will be used for several other things like equipment, field improvements, and scholarship requests.
