Basketball/Cheer League 2023-24

Registration is now open for New Hope Basketball & Cheer League

A family-friendly event, the league provides a fun kid sports experience based on healthy competition. All basketball players will be evaluated on the court with various drills for placement on a team. They will learn sport skills and values; players will have equal playing time. Basketball shorts, practice and game day t-shirts are included in the registration fee for players.

Cheerleaders will attend orientation and be sized for their uniforms (no evaluations). They are taught various routines and will learn new cheers. Cheer skort and top, t-shirts and pom-poms are included for cheerleaders.

The league is open to boys and girls in grades 1 through 6

League Dates November 27, 2023 - February 24, 2024

Cost: $130

One-hour Evaluation/Orientation for players

Register for either Saturday, November 11 or November 18

(Please note new evaluation dates)

1st & 2nd grade boys/girls - 9:00 am

3rd & 4th grade boys/girls - 10:00 am

5th & 6th grade boys/girls - 11:00 am

(cheerleaders come at any time on either day)

First practice is the week of November 27

Practice time: 1 hour and 15 minutes

Practice day is Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday

(Times to be determined after child is placed on teams)

First game day: Saturday, January 6 (one hour game on Saturdays)

Last game day: Saturday, February 24
