Cross Country Program (5th-8th)

The Our Lady of the Assumption ("OLA") Cross Country Program is run by volunteers of the OLA Athletic Ministry.

Cross Country is open to 5th - 8th graders.

CMXC League runs a Fall season with several meets scheduled with other parishes

OLA Fall 2024 Cross Country

Our Lady of the Assumption Cross Country Program

The Our Lady of the Assumption ("OLA") Cross Country Program is run by volunteers of the OLA Athletic Ministry. This program is for rising 5th-8th Grade students ONLY. Our team competes in the Catholic Metro Cross Country League (CMXC), which comprises Catholic schools/parishes throughout the metro area. Please note that we will need parent volunteers - you can volunteer when you register.

Registration will open from July 2nd until August 10th

Registration Cost: $130

Singlet Fee (if needed) - $15 - Returning runners will reuse the singlets from the previous season, but have the opportunity during registration to purchase a new singlet. New registrants to the program will need to purchase a singlet. Please note that if you order your child's singlet AFTER the closing date there is no guarantee you will receive either the size requested or the singlet before the start of the season.

Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from 3:30pm until 4:30pm.

Saturday 8/17 - OLA's Second Annual Run to the Church 5K - All registrants will be eligible to register for the 5K which takes place through the beautiful surrounding neighborhood. There is an additional fee of $25 dollars, which can be added to your registration at checkout if you chose for your child to participate.

Saturday 10/26 - Catholic Charities Run to Serve 5K - All registrants will be eligible to register for the Catholic Charities - Run to Serve 5K at Blackburn Park in Brookhaven, GA. There is an additional fee of $25, which can be added to your registration at checkout if you chose for your child to participate.

Please note the following refund processes for cancellations after registration:

A $15 refund fee will be charged for cancellations before the registration closing date of 8/10; a $35 refund fee will be charged for cancellations between 8/10 and 8/25; and no refunds will be allowed after 8/25.

Singlet Refund Policy: You will receive a refund for a purchased singlet if you cancel your child's registration before 8/10. However, after 8/10 there will be NO refunds for singlets purchased.
