Immaculate Heart of Mary Girls High School Volleyball Program

The Catholic Metro High School Volleyball League (CMVLHS) consists of 1 GIRL'S division: 9th-12th graders.

To be eligible to participate in CMVLHS a player must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Have attended a Catholic elementary/middle school or 
  • Is presently attending a Catholic high school or
  • Is an active member of a parish within the Archdiocese of Atlanta; and
  • Must be enrolled in high school
  • Must NOT be on a Freshman, JV or Varsity high school volleyball roster at the commencement of the CMVLHS season
  • Girls only

Season is 9 weeks and matches are played on Sundays.

Immaculate Heart of Mary CMVLHS Fall 2024 High School Girls Volleyball Program

The Immaculate Heart of Mary ("IHM") Volleyball Program is run by volunteers of the IHM Athletic Ministry. The IHM high school volleyball teams participate in the Catholic Metro Volleyball High School League ("CMVLHS") which comprises of Catholic schools/parishes teams throughout the metro area. The CMVLHS consists of 1 GIRL'S division: 9th-12th graders.

To be eligible to participate in CMVLHS a player must fulfill the following criteria:
  • Have attended a Catholic elementary/middle school or 
  • Is presently attending a Catholic high school or
  • Is an active member of a parish within the Archdiocese of Atlanta; and
  • Must be enrolled in high school
  • Must NOT be on a Freshman, JV or Varsity high school volleyball roster at the commencement of the CMVLHS season
  • Girls only

General Information:
  • Registration will open from July 1st until August 5th
  • The season lasts for 9 weeks and a tournament is played at the end of the season 
  • Minimum 9 players per team
  • An Adult Manager/Coach must be at practice and sit on the bench during games

Season Dates:
  • Week 1 - August 18th
  • Week 2 - August 25th
  • Week 3 - September 8th
  • Week 4- September 15th
  • Week 5 - September 22nd
  • Week 6 - September 29th
  • Week 7 - October 6th
  • Week 8 - October 20th
  • Tournament October 26th/27th

Match Information:
  • Teams will play one match every Sunday 
  • Scoring (rally scoring) is best 2 out of 3 games played
  • Each match will last one hour

Cost: Registration Fee - $125
Jersey Fee (if needed) - $25 - Returning players will reuse the jerseys from the previous season, but have the opportunity during registration to purchase a new jersey. New registrants to the program will need to purchase a jersey. Please note that if you order your child's jersey AFTER the closing date there is no guarantee you will receive either the size requested or the jersey before the start of the season.

Please note on registration team captain or team manager, so we can assign players to requested teams.

Please note the following refund processes for cancellations after registration: 
A $15 refund fee will be charged for cancellations before the registration closing date of 8/05; a $30 refund fee will be charged for cancellations between 8/06 and 8/18; and no refunds will be allowed after 8/18.

Jersey Refund Policy: You will receive a refund for a purchased jersey if you cancel your child's registration before 8/05. However, after 8/05 there will be NO refunds for jerseys purchased.
