East Hampton Soccer Club partners with Vale Sports Club
Why is the East Hampton Soccer Club partnered with the Vale Sports Club?
First, the East Hampton Soccer Club is a volunteer run organization that relies entirely on the volunteers to assist our youth in becoming knowledgeable and skilled in the sport of soccer. As we have seen throughout the years, soccer is an evolving sport that requires education to ensure the best practices are being adhered too, which ensures the players are developing their age appropriate skills adequately. But as I first mentioned not all volunteers are knowledgeable in the sport of soccer and that’s not an insult. Volunteers again are the reason we as a club are able to sustain our commitment in providing our local youth with the sport of soccer. If you have ever volunteered as a coach, it can be demanding and challenging by finding drills that fit your teams/player’s needs by planning curriculum on a weekly basis.
That’s why we as a club felt it was necessary to take the next step by partnering with an organization that could assist in the education and skill development for our youth. This in turn also helps our volunteers in making them feel more comfortable developing these youth’s skills by providing coaching assistance during their designated weekly practices and with yearly updated curriculum packets. It’s our commitment to ensure our youth are afforded excellent education and development at an affordable rate as premier programs or individual clinics can be costly.
Our alliance partners over at Vale Soccer Club are a premier program that specializes in providing youth with the ability to focus on age appropriate individual skill acquisition and development. Their core values focus on 1: Always Try Your Best 2: Do What Is Right 3: Love for Life and Sport 4: We Over ME; this is an excellent philosophy and commitment to developing these youth’s passion for the sport of soccer. It’s a commitment that as a club we will never sacrifice. This is a direction that our East Hampton Soccer club board members feel is necessary to keep our local youth playing soccer in the caliber of competition for years to come.
