RULES: 
Players must be registered by noon.
Helmet must be worn.
Bats must meet South Shore Invitational Tournament standards.
Based on event attendance, the “outs allowed” may be modified (increased/decreased) to affect the length of time covered by the event. 
Players who are helping to shag balls must stay on the warning track.
Each hitter is responsible for providing their own adult pitcher.

PLAYING RULES:
Each player gets 5 minutes or 5 outs for their round.
Any fair ball that lands over the fence in fair territory is a home run. 
The participant with a lead after the round shall be declared the winner.
Should there be a tie after the first round, a "Swing-Off" takes place. In a Swing-Off, each tied player gets five swings to get as many home runs as possible. If a tie remains after the first Swing-Off, the Swing-Off round shall be repeated until a winner can be declared. 
Each swing that is not a Home Run is considered an out. This includes anything swung and missed, fouled, or hit in play but not over the fence. A fair ball over the fence is considered one run and not counted as one of the five outs. 

12U SB: 165 feet from fence
11U BB: 165 feet from fence
10U SB: 100 feet from fence
9U BB: 100 feet from fence
8U BB/SB: 100 feet from fence
