The Dumont family, Joe, Darcie, Cameron and Brenden, have been a part of the Hooksett Basketball community for many years. The Dumont family has always supported their communities and those in need. Now the Dumont Family needs support from their community.
This summer Darcie Dumont was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. In January Darcie was hospitalized for an infection. Being the fighter that she is Darcie was able to beat the infection but the infection caused damage to her kidneys and liver. Darcie and her family were advised that she must discontinue her chemotherapy due to the damage.
Darcie is now home with her family and they are cherishing their time together. Darcie has said that one of her favorite things is to watch her children play basketball. This year’s All Star Games will be played in honor of Darcie and the entire Dumont family and all proceeds will be donated to them.
