MiniKicker Division – Ages 4-5

MiniKickers is a Co-Ed program that is run by our Trainers. Focus is on making the players comfortable and developing their skills by using fun games; sometimes with and without the ball. Players are given a jersey and a size 3 ball. 

Meets When: 

Each season, MiniKickers will meet every Saturday morning.  Sessions will be scheduled based on registration numbers.


Nutmeg Division: Boys and Girls– Ages 6-7

With separate Boys and Girls teams, a minimum of two parent coaches are required for each team of approximately 8 players. Three coaches are preferred in case the coach’s player gets sick. Training occurs with the Trainers in the first part of the session followed by a 4v4 game with no goalies on a 20 x 30 yd field with goals. Coaches are on the field during games to help reinforce and apply skills taught during training sessions. Players are provided a full uniform; Jersey, Shorts and Socks to keep. They need to bring a Size 3 ball with their name on it to all games and practices.  

Meets When:

Spring Season: Nutmeg will meet on Friday evenings, 5:30 to 7:00 and 6:30 to 8:00 pm (Sessions are 1 1/2 hours each with a 1/2 hour overlap).  In addition, the boys and girls will participate in games on alternating Wednesday evenings from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.

Fall Season: Nutmeg will meet on Saturdays, 11:00 to 12:30 and 12:00 to 1:30 (The boys and girls alternate early/late sessions each week.) In addition, the boys and girls will participate in games on alternating Wednesday evenings from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.


Juniors Division: Boys and Girls – Ages 8-10 

Juniors play on a 7v7 Field with a Build Out Line Practices are run by both trainers and volunteer coaches. Teams meet three times a week which includes one weekend day. There is at least one game per week in this division. Players start to communicate and work together as a team utilizing the practice drills in full-size game settings. Players are provided a full uniform; Jersey, Shorts and Socks to keep. They need to bring a Size 4 ball with their name on it to all games and practices.  

Meets When:

  • Boys have training on Monday nights and games and or practices on Wednesdays nights with Saturday games.
  • Girls have games and or practices on Tuesday nights and Training on Thursday nights with Saturday games.

Note: Preseason practices will be determined by the coaches and will reach out to players once the teams are formed. 


Seniors Divisions: Separate Boys and Girls Teams – Ages 11-15

U11/12 play on a 9v9 field. They need to bring a Size 4 ball with their name on it to all practices and games. Note: If there are not enough players the age groups will be combined to form an 11-15 aged team(s) and will use a Size 5 ball.  U13,14,15 play on a 11v11 field. They need to bring a Size 5 ball with their name on it to all practices and games.   Players in both divisions are provided a full uniform; Jersey, Shorts and Socks to keep. 

Meets When:

  • U11/12 and U13,14,15 Girls practice on Thursday nights and train on Tuesday nights with a professional trainer.
  • U11/12 Boys practice on Wednesday nights and train on Tuesday nights with a professional trainer
  • U13,14,15 Boys practice on Monday nights and train on Tuesday nights with a professional trainer
  • Games are usually Saturdays, however as occasional Sunday game could be scheduled 

Note: Preseason practices will be determined by the coaches and will reach out to players once the teams are formed. Home and away games with area town recreation teams are required since more players are needed at each age group resulting in only one or two teams at each level.  


Co-Ed Recreational High School – Ages 16-19

This program was started in the Spring of 2022 to allow those players that age out of our Senior Division, a place to continue to play. We play on an 11v11 field.  Players are provided a full uniform; Jersey, Shorts and Socks to keep. They need to bring a Size 5 ball with their name on it to all practices and games.  

Meets When:

  • Practice is one night a week. The day is usually determined at the beginning of each season predicated on the players availability. This day sometimes rotates on alternating weeks to ensure all the players can attend.
  • Games are usually Saturdays, however as occasional Sunday game could be scheduled 
Note: Preseason practices will be determined by the coaches and will reach out to players once the teams are formed. Home and away games with area town HS recreation teams are required since more players are needed at this age group resulting in only one or two teams. .
