Barre Klapper Award for Outstanding Achievement

Created in 2022, the Barre Klapper Award for Outstanding Achievement  was created not only to thank Barre for her dedication to South Lacrosse but to recognize a player each year that embodies the spirit and commitment that Barre herself showed during her tenure as Manager (2017-2019) and as the parent of two players (Yonatan and Gavriel Shere). 

Barre's dedication to the program is still being felt today.  In true Barre fashion, when asked to share, Barre made a 20-minute speech thanking everyone else who were dedicated to the growth of South Lacrosse.
