Age Waivers - Once registered at their appropriate age level, players/parents can request a one year age waiver to "play up" to the next age level. Age Waiver must be submitted and approved by the ACHR Area Chairman prior to the Draft. Please contact your age appropriate Basketball Coordinator for an age waiver request letter.
Playing High School or Middle School Basketball?
ACHR Basketball Eligibility (Boys or Girls) - If your son or daughter is trying out for the Middle School or High School Basketball teams, it is strongly recommended to register for Courthouse Basketball to ensure they have a roster spot if he or she does not make the Middle School or High School team. Once Courthouse Basketball teams fill up, wait list players will be added to teams strictly based on space availability. If your son or daughter makes the High School team (JV or Varsity) they are INELIGIBLE to participated in recreational basketball. For those players who make the MS or HS team, simply request a refund from your ACHR Basketball Coordinator. If your son or daughter makes the Middle School team, they ARE ELIGIBLE to play BOTH Middle School and ACHR-City Basketball.
