Ladyhawks Update 2025-03-28

I have been received email asking about the current status of forming the Ladyhawks Softball teams and wanted to send out an update.  I had planned to get this out last week, but unfortunately that didn't happen.

Currently I'm working on figuring out how many teams we will have in each division, picking a date for the 10U Ladyhawks evaluations, date for 10U Ladyhawks draft along with forming our 12U & High School teams.

The High School & 12U teams typically play earlier in the year because of the other organization that we play against, so if you hear of some of the older girls getting on teams and practicing we start them earlier so don't panic that you missed something.

High School Ladyhawks Update:

Our High School teams will play teams from Millard, Hillside, Memorial & new this year Ralston. We will have two teams in this division.  The schedules are 90% complete and we are working on selecting the teams, so you should be getting notifications of your teams next week.  High School games will start on April 21st.

12U Ladyhawks Update:

Our 12U team will play in the Elkhorn Athletic Association league.  We will have 1 team in this division.  Currently I only have 1 person signed up to be an assistant coach and I'm missing a head coach.  If some one would be willing to be the head coach let me know.  That is all we are missing for me to form this team and get you on the website so you can start practicing.  We could use a couple of additional assistants as well.

I'm waiting on Elkhorn to send me the 12U schedule and will get added to the website as soon as I get it.

10U Ladyhawks Update:

I'm working on finding a date to use the PAD for evaluations.  For those of you who maybe new to the Ladyhawks organization we hold an evaluation prior to the team drafts.  We then use this information to draft our teams.  Since these teams play each other we try to make each of the teams competitive against each other.  We will have three teams in this division and Cedar Bluffs is going to bring over a 10U team for us to play as well similar to other years. Currently I only have 1 person signed up to be a head coach. I need two more head coaches in order for me to be able to schedule the evaluations.  Please send me an email if you would like to head coach a team.

10U Ladyhawks games will start May 5th
