Reinforce Accountability Coins, and Goals Setting, Team identity formation, honest and realistic Feedback, and Reflection processes. Solidifying the players role as a leader and mentor, realizing their status as a role model within our club, and recognizing what the players legacy within SSC will be (will you leave it in a better place than when you joined it). Reflect on and improve within the demands of being a complete athlete (nutrition, time, body management, and work to rest rations in and outside of training) and assess desires for taking your play to the next level. Increased focus on results and pursuing excellence as individuals and as a team.

Main Activities:

The main activities should involve team tactics and formations and how to adjust to an opponent in a game situation. Focus on finishing in the attacking third and defending deep in the defensive third through positional/spatial awareness, and roles on and off the ball and among teammates. Continue to focus on phases of play, group play dynamics and on advanced technical aspects of the game. Players should be engaged 85% of the time with small sided games, rondos, and positional games. Activities should also include: possession, transition, aerial control, awareness, decision making, pressing in attacking 3rd, playing through midfield, creating scoring opportunities, crossing, receiving, finishing; and overall pressing and defensive organization as it relates to all three thirds and all four phases of the game, as well as playing through the thirds in order to create a team attack in relation to all three thirds and all four phases of the game as well.
