Steamboat Soccer Club develops its referees through a bottom-up approach, providing instruction, experience, and a referee mentoring program for referees of all level and experience. Steamboat Soccer Club Referee Assignors, Mentors, and Instructors actively participate in observing and nurturing the referees on the fields.

With experience and growth, referees are assigned to competitive level games which match their skills, confidence, and experience levels.

Steamboat Soccer Club makes every effort possible to provide ample opportunity for all of our referees to get as many games as possible while taking careful consideration in matching appropriate referees with the appropriate level of games based on experience.
