Sign ups and Try Outs!

Saturday, January 21st:

* In-person Signups - Payments Due: We will be holding in-person sign ups this Saturday from 10AM-2PM at the Snack Bar at Ochoa Middle School. If you have an outstanding balance, you can bring it down to the field during this time. Our three methods are; Venmo (@TINA-STALEY-1), Zelle (search Mt Eden American Little League ph#510-200-1671) or cash/check by dropping off at Ochoa during in-person sign ups.

* Field Maintenance: This Saturday we will also have field maintenance in order to prepare the fields for Player Evaluations the following weekend. As I am sure you all know, the fields are not in playing condition given the amount of rain we have has recently. It is imperative that we get out this Saturday to work on the fields. We are asking any Parent's who have some time to come down and help us out. We will start around 10:00 AM. We also ask that you bring any equipment that you may have such as shovels, rakes, push brooms, blowers, weed whackers, etc. We have some equipment, but not enough for everyone.

Saturday and Sunday, January 28th & 29th:

* Player Evaluations: We will hold our annual player evaluations this weekend. Times for evaluations will vary by the age of your Child. These evaluations are merely to ensure each child is in their proper division of play and that they can properly protect themselves. No player will be cut. Everyone player who has signed up will be placed on a team. All Evaluations will be held at Ochoa Middle School. The times for evaluations are as follows:

Age: 6-7 = 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM
Age: 8, 9, 10 = 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Age: 11-12 = 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Managers and Coaches:

We are currently looking for Managers and Coaches for every division. Being that Minor A and Majors are drafted divisions, we would like to make sure that we at least have one coach placed for every team at prior to tryouts. This way all Managers and Coaches will be able to see all of the players in their divisions during evaluations. If you are interested in Managing or Coaching, please contact us at [email protected] and we can get you setup for the 2023 Little League season.
