To the parents of East Jordan Little League:

There was a parent meeting held last night to discuss the future of the league and for parents to air out their greavances. During the meeting, Dave Campbell tendered his resignation. Following the meeting, Tom Parker, Jessica Parker, and Miki Campbell all tendered their resignations effective immediately. This leaves the board of EJLL with 3 members left. The EJLL constitution requires the league have 9 members. There are currently three offers from the board to members to join the board, those offers are still withstanding and may be accepted and approved at the next board meeting. The next meeting will be held next Tuesday at 6:30 at the harvest barn church. The board will be looking to fill all vacancies at this meeting. This league is in a tough position as we are less than 2 weeks away from the scheduled start of the season. Procedures on how the board vacancies will be filled will follow. We ask that all league members be present at the meeting, especially those wishing to join the board. Thank you to the pastor and local law enforcement who gave their time to help the board and the community of East Jordan Little League last night. The remaining board will need members to step up and help to make sure all kids in the EJLL community have a season to play this year.
