Board Public Meeting and Elections

Dear Hudson Little League Community,

We are preparing for the 2024 season and eagerly anticipating spring. In years past we have
enjoyed the benefit of having a stable and consistent Board of Directors. In the last two years
we have had several members of the board resign. The remaining board officers wish to use
this as an opportunity to revitalize and reimagine the work of the Board. You may not be aware
but there is a tremendous amount of year round behind the scenes work that goes into the
league. We are requesting letters of interest from our Little League community to join the
Hudson Little League Board. Letters can be sent to: [email protected]
Over the recent seasons we have had a slate of officers and a number of general board
members. We would like to transition to a model that identifies specific Director positions that
carry specific responsibilities. There are several vacant positions. If you would like to join the
Hudson Little League Board please send us a Letter of Interest and attend our Public Board
Meeting on February 19th at 6pm. We are meeting at Central Station 77 N 7th Street Hudson
NY 12534.

Secretary - Vacant
     -Provide notice of meetings, take minutes of meetings, receive and report on league
correspondence. Assist and support with league operations. Attend monthly Board

Treasurer - Barbara Briscoe

Player Agent - Amanda Briscoe

Board Member - Michele Goodermote

Safety Officer - VACANT
     -Responsible for creating the annual Safety Plan for submission and approval by Little
League International. Identify and address safety issues at league fields with support of
other board members.

Director of Tee Ball - Ronan Haldane

Director of Softball- Vacant
     -Organize growing softball program. Oversee softball registration, teams, coaches
scheduling. In collaboration with Coach Pitch Director foster and build relationship with
FASNY. Attend monthly board meetings. Other duties as determined by the Board
based on league need.

Director of Coach Pitch BB - Vacant
     -Oversee operations of Coach Pitch Baseball program. Participate in player
assessments, team assignments, in collaboration with other board members resolve
related issues. Serve as point of contact for other district 15 coach pitch coaches.
Assist with the Coach Pitch tournament. Attend monthly board meetings. Other duties
as determined by the Board based on league need.

Director of Player Pitch BB - Shawn Briscoe

Director of Facilities - Randy Conte

Director of Concessions - Vacant
     -Organize and maintain a schedule of concession stand volunteers. In conjunction with
the Treasurer to maintain finances of the concession stand. Maintain stock and
inventory for concession stands.

Director of Fundraising/Communications
- Vacant
     -Organize fundraising efforts and sponsorships for teams and field signage. Maintain
sponsorship records, send thank you letters. Help organize league events. Maintain
league social media presence. Attend monthly board meetings.

*Board Officer can be also be a Director (eg VP can be Director of Fundraising etc)
