Once tryouts are completed, individual team coaches will start the process of contacting the parents of players who attended, either by phone or by email, to provide an update on a child's status and to offer a place on a particular team for those players selected for available roster spots. Given how many players we have attend our tryouts, this process can take up to 7 days to complete. As such, if you have not heard from a coach by Feb 6th, please reach out to the program director, Jack Coulton, at [email protected].

If your child is offered a spot on a team, the coach will ask you to confirm acceptance of the spot by email. Within 2 weeks of tryouts having finished, our admin staff will send you an official invite for your child to join the program through the same Blue Sombrero/Sports Connect account you used to pre-register for tryouts. 

At this point, the process splits into two, one working with the coaching staff, the other working with the admin staff:

1. You will need to continue to communicate with the relevant coach to move the process along as it relates to your child being part of the team. This includes confirming email addresses so you can be added to the team's communication tool, as well as communicating your child’s roster # preference to the coach so that the uniform can be ordered..
