MBSA chooses Sports Connect

A few short weeks ago MBSA was informed by SportsSignUp Play that they would be discontinuing that platform at the end of 2021. The MBSA Board of Directors need to work feverishly to source and vet new platforms for it's website, registration, scheduling, and background checks.

Sports Connect was selected as the new vendor for MBSA's website and registration. You're already seeing some exciting changes in the look and feel of the website as we open registration for the Spring 2022 season, and you're sure to notice more as we forward. Sports Connect provides a robust mobile-first platform used by many sports associations locally and nationwide. They stand behind their platform with support for both admins and end-users as well!

Virtual Badge has been selected as our new background check and digital badge provider. As we move toward the beginning of the season you'll see even more exciting changes as we embrace the Virtual Badge app, making it easier and quicker than ever to perform volunteer background checks and issue digital badges that are always at-the-ready.

We look forward to seeing how these new technologies will help us continue provide the best possible program "for the kids"!
