Junior Development Academy is a year long program that will kick off for the 2023-2024 season on June 13, 2023
The Bend FC Junior Development Academy (JDA) is the club's 'bridge' between our developmental and recreational leagues and our competitive youth program. The Junior Development Academy's 2023-2024 program is for players born in 2014, 2015 and 2016 who desire a year-long
soccer experience and more competitive training environment.
JDA is a year-long soccer program. It is broken into three seasons, summer, fall, and spring. During each “season,” there are practices two times per week that are 75 minutes in length. JDA games are played on a size-appropriate field with 7 players per side including goalkeepers. They participate in the OYSA U10 Valley League which is comprised of academy teams from Bend, Eugene, Salem, and Corvallis. Games are jamboree style (multiple games in one day). Each club receives one home day per season (fall and spring) and 3 away days. Players will train in groups separated by age and ability and will work with assigned age group coaches each season. From those groups, the JDA Director and Coaches will create teams for the league for both the boys and girls based on age, ability, and player availability. During the summer, teams will compete in our Bend Premier Cup soccer tournament that will be held on July 7 - 9, 2023. Registration and coach travel costs for leagues and the summer tournament are included in player fees.

Practices are held at Bend FC Soccer Complex at Pine Nursery Park
Girls JDA: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:30 - 5:45**
Boys JDA: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:00 - 7:15**
