The Tournaments of State Champions are two separate tournaments held annually at “The Bank”Southern Bank Stadium located at J. Burt Gillette Athletic Complex in Wilson, North Carolina. During the last part of July and the first part of August each year state champion Little League teams from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia compete for the title of “Regional Champion”.
The Tournaments of State Champions are conducted in two different age divisions. The first Tournament of State Champions is for 8-10 year olds and the second Tournament of State Champions is for 9-11 year olds. Each tournament begins with opening ceremonies on a Friday night and has game play from Saturday through Wednesday.
