COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

GYM PROTOCOLS

Each gym will have a designated entry and exit door.
Doors will be manned by staff.
Staff at entry door will ensure that all players, coaches, and spectators meet approved protocols (temperature, pulse ox, form, etc.) prior to entry.
Each participant may invite 2 spectators to watch each game.

PRIOR TO THE GAME

Gyms will be cleaned before allowing entry to the next teams.
All stands and benches will be sanitized with sprayer between games.
Players and coaches will be allowed in through designated doors following admission protocol.
Spectators will be allowed in through designated doors following admission protocol.
Spectators will be required to wear masks while in the gym.
Table workers will have coaches fill out book prior to entry into gym.

GAME PROCEDURES

Teams will get a 3-minute warm up period.
Coaches will wear masks for the duration of the game. One warning, then technical foul, then ejection.
All players will wear masks while on the bench. Masks cannot come off until they enter the game.
Players are not required to wear masks while playing on the court.
Player must bring and labeled or distinguishable water bottles.
There will be no postgame handshake/slap. Teams will line up across court, one at half-court and the other at the three-point line and clap for each other instead.
Coaches will take teams outside for postgame talk and snack immediately following the postgame acknowledgement
Spectators will clear the gym immediately after the game ends.
Once the gym is clear, pregame cleaning procedures will begin.
