WSLL Families:

Welcome to another season of WSLL baseball!  Players requiring a tryout will receive a separate email. If you are unsure if you need a tryout please check for your name from the links below.  The Tryout dates and times will be as follows:

Saturday January 29, 2022 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm

         Complete

Saturday February 5, 2022 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm

        WSLL Tryout Manager will send an updated email with your tryout times. 

Both tryout dates will be held at Metropolitan Baseball Academy located at 7029 Newington Road in Lorton, VA.   Players must arrive 15-20 minutes to check in and warm up.  Be sure to have your player wear athletic attire with either tennis shoes or baseball turfs (no cleats) and bring their glove, bat and helmet.  If you do not have a bat and or helmet, we will have a few on hand which we will use sanitization wipes and disinfectant in between each use. 

Due to space limitations and WSLL rules, parents or guardians are NOT allowed in the facility to watch the tryout.  Parents should wait in the car after checking the player in.  Once the tryout is complete, you can meet your player outside the main doors.

If your child has Covid, not feeling well, and or has been in close in contact with someone who is Covid +, please do NOT come to the tryout, contact the Tryout Coordinator (David Queen) and or the Player Agent (Todd Harding) to make other arrangements. 

In order to speed up the check in process, you can visit the Metro Baseball page (https://metrobaseballacademy.com/mbaupdate) to fill out the Covid Waiver form and show the email when you check in.  *Note, it must be filled out the same day as the tryout.

Masks are required to be worn inside Metro Baseball regardless of vaccination status.
