Mommy and Me Soccer

NPSC’s Mommy/Daddy & Me classes are a fun and positive introduction to soccer for our youngest soccer players born in 2020/2021 and their parents,  by incorporating age appropriate soccer games and activities that will keep your child engaged and enjoying their introduction to soccer all with mom and dad by their side

Mommy/Daddy & Me improves your child’s confidence in their body movement and agility through the many activities throughout the program. He/she will learn how to maintain balance and control the ball with his/her feet while moving in various directions. Parents and players will learn games and activities that can be played at home with the rest of the family. In preparation for the future league play, your young one will gain experience on a real soccer field. He/she will learn the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship while having fun with players and their parents! Our age-appropriate and field tested curriculum engages youngsters with entertaining activities that promote motor skill development and cognitive ability. With a parent participating by their side, kids will have fun learning basic soccer skill like chasing, running, kicking, body movement teamwork and listening.

Mommy/Daddy & Me classes are 30 minutes long, and meet once a week and are run by one NPSC’s staff coach. Adult participation is required. Regular practices are typically Saturday mornings between the hours of 8:00 am - 10:00 am held on the Peak field depending on the numbers registered.

Little United

NPSC’s Little United program is designed for the U4-U5 player. The focus of the program is to create a fun and encouraging environment where your child can improve their agility, balance, creativity and confidence while becoming comfortable with a soccer ball.

Training sessions are designed to provide maximum touches on the ball for each player. Players train and play in a pooled age group environment as opposed to teams. We concentrate on individual growth and development at this age. Competition is not emphasized. All training sessions will be lead by our professional training staff

The Under-4 program is the perfect introduction to soccer for your child. For many, this will be their first experience with “team” sports. By creating a fun and structured environment, your child will be given the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of soccer while developing balance, movement and motor skills.

The Under-5 program continues the development goals of our U-4 program. New and "experienced" players are welcome. Players continue to learn the fundamental skills of soccer while developing balance, movement and motor skills.

NPSC's Little United  program is once a week training session held on Saturday through the season for 45 minutes per session. Players need to bring a size 3 ball.

In-House Soccer League

NPSC's in-house soccer league introduces players to sound technical play in a team environment.  Teams will have once a week practice. Practices will be run with a volunteer coach. During the season 4 sessions will be run by NPSC's coaching staff  for our soccer school.

NPSC's U6-U10 will form gender-specific teams.

Practices will be held on one of the following days; Monday, Wednesday, or Friday's at 5:30.

NPSC's In-house program does not record goals scored, wins, loses, or standings.
U6 and U8 games will be held on Saturday's between 8:00-12:00 on the Tepeyac field at Athey.
U10 games will be held on Saturdays between 8:00-12:00 on the Country and Fauquier Health fields at Athey.

Our U10 division will have a end of season festival where all teams will play three games on through the day on Saturday.

SFL League

NPSC will continue to play in the Suburban Friendship League (SFL) now NCSL. NCSL is a soccer league centered in Northern Virginia, to provide a range and variety of competition for the club’s U12 to U19 recreational teams.  SFL is organized around gender-specific age groups including U11, U12, U13, U14, U16, and U19.  SFL operates several divisions per age group to promote competitive play. Teams will play half the games at Athey sports complex and the other half at the opposing team's fields.

Teams will have practice once a week with the option to have a second practice.

All players on SFL teams will have to purchase uniforms through soccerpost. Individual emails with links will be send directly to the email on file once teams are formed.
