Jordan Matthews (Coach) Girls 17U Black Coach Matthews was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah where he earned third team All-State honors in High School. He started his collegiate career at Dawson Community College where he helped lead Dawson to a 24-6 record and to the Region 9 championship for the first time in school history. In that season he was a top two scorer in the league, won CO-Mon-Dak Player of the Year and was named to the Third-Team NCJAA All-American. He then joined Montana State University-Northern to finish his college career. In his Junior season as a Light he was named to the Honorable Mention Team and Named 1st Team All-Conference in his Senior year. Coach Matthews says, This game has given me so much. Since I was a young kid I've had coaches who sacrificed so much to help me become a better player, student and person. Their example was tremendous and I felt strongly that I needed to do the same.
