Tournament Allotment:

Allotments for Fall 2023/Spring 2024:

8U to 14U:               $1500 for Fall 2023 (These funds must be requested by December 31, 2023)
                                 $1500 for Spring 2024  (These funds must be requested by July 31, 2024)
 
15U and above:    $1500 for Spring 2024  (These funds must be requested by July 31, 2024)

Tournaments can serve as an essential component for player and team development and are important for club-wide exposure. As such, competitive teams are provided with club resources to facilitate participation in USYS-sanctioned tournaments.

Official requests for tournament allotment must be made in writing to the LHSA treasurer.

LHSA allows each team to recover and use any unused tournament allotment towards "soccer-related" activities in order to maximize player development. Requests to recover unused tournament allotment must be made in writing to the LHSA treasurer, indicating how they will be used. Lawrence Hamnett Soccer Association officially defines "soccer-related" as "any activity that develops a majority of players on a team in a group environment, preferably involving a ball and goals." Any questions as to what fulfills "soccer-related" should be directed to the VP of Competitive Soccer. Suitable 'soccer-related' activities could consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• Facility rentals (indoor, turf, etc.)
• Team training*
• Indoor/winter leagues (e.g. Futsal)
• Team camps (e.g. Red Bulls and 80% of more of the team is attending)
