FBH ANGELS 15U quickly responded in the bottom of the first, capturing a 2-1 lead after James Osborne doubled and Kaleb Sepko singled, each driving in a run. However, an error by FBH ANGELS 15U in the top of the second allowed Carolina Arsenal 15U to tie the game at two.

In the top of the fifth inning, Carolina Arsenal 15U regained the lead. They scored on a passed ball, and Matthew Woodard singled to bring in another run, making it 4-2. FBH ANGELS 15U managed to score one more run but couldn't bridge the gap.
