Coaches - Return to Play Phase 1 Guidelines

We will be running under Phase 1 guidelines. We will let you all know about practice fields as we are still working with County on the permits. No formal practices should be held until our permits are resolved, your practice field has been assigned and your participating players have signed the COVID-19 waiver. ALL coaches MUST be certified in order to step on the practice and playing fields.

Please be prepared to share fields with other teams, we don't have use of all the fields that we used to so we will let you know what fields you may use and when. More than likely, we will be running the games using Winter League rules (since we aren't participating in the State Tournament).

Under Phase 1, the following items were discussed at the meeting with County officials:

Skills-based practices include, throwing, fielding, agility training, running, etc. No live situational practices may be held until Phase 2 is in effect.

The County is recommending that coaches split teams up and work with the players in smaller groups.

Attendance MUST be taken at each practice, an attendance sheet will be emailed to the head coach once formal practices are allowed and held.

Equipment, drinks, etc. are NOT to be shared.

Coaches and players only on the practice field, parents should just drop off and pick up or wait in their cars.
