Little League Congress Rule Changes

Little League Congress voted to change 8 rules to the following sections:

#1 Regulation I(A) (3), Regulation III (C), and Regulation IV (A)
#2 Regulation IV (F) - The Players
#3 Rule 3.09
#4 Rule 4.10 (E)
#5A Rule 6.08 (A) (2)
#5B Rule 6.08 (A) (2)
#6 Rule 7.13
#7 Tournament Organization -Managers and Coaches in the Dugout
#8 Tournament Organization - Release of Names

One of the most significant rule changes is #2 Regulation IV (F) - The Players. Congress has voted to modify the requirement to attend 50% of player evaluations to attend at least one spring tryout session. Failure to attend one tryout session will result in forfeiture of league eligibility unless an excuse is presented and accepted by a majority of the Board of Directors. This would apply to Major through Senior Divisions.
