2017 Opening Day

2017 Opening Day ceremonies were highlighted by the reunion of the 1965 North Arlington All-Star team. Although, we have come close since, they were the last from our town to win the NJ District 5 Little League Championship. In attendance were (l-r, back row) Richie Carter, Chris Bernadino, Tommy Herrmann, Tony Riposta, Kevin McVey, and Donnie Albanese (front row, right).
It was inspirational for the young players and their families to hear how some home grown North Arlington Little League talent went on to play college and MLB baseball.
A sign will hang permanently on our fence to commemorate their achievement.
Thank you to the Mayor and Council, Recreation Commission, NALL Executive Board, coaches, volunteers, and parents who worked tirelessly to prepare for the start of our season.
