Welcome to the new Gardendale Youth Tackle Football League. This league will be a feeder pattern program for kids going into Gardendale Middle School. Head Varsity Football Coach and Athletic Director Chad Eads will be helping guide these teams through their coaches to build a developmental program for the high school. They will play all of their home games under the lights at Gardendale High School on weekday nights.
The league is a member of the JSYFL Tackle Football League, and will compete against Cahaba Valley, Chelsea, Helena, Homewood, Hoover, Oak Mountain, Pelham, Spain Park, Thompson, Trussville, & Vestavia. Gardendale will have one team per grade for 3rd-6th grade and a combined 1st & 2nd grade team.
This league will have coaches' clinics led by Coach Eads and his staff, youth camps for kids at all 4 feeder pattern elementary school areas (Brookside, Gardendale, Snow Rogers, North Smithfield, and Mount Olive), access to learn through the spring training and summer high school football programs, and have on the filed opportunity for our kids to be a part of the school football program on Friday nights.

Registration cost is $300 and includes:
- new home and away jerseys
- new helmets and shoulder pads
- spirit pack for every kid
- all home games on the new high school turf field
- learning plays and formations from the high school coaches
- multiple free kids camp opportunities this summer with coaching from the high school staff
- free but mandatory coaching clinics to teach the coaches base formations, terminology, and plays
- kids allowed on the field to help with pregame during the varsity home games
