Lakota Black Takes Next Step Towards Intermediate World Series

Asher Tozier and Jackson Boone combined for yielding 1 run, allowing 1 hit and striking out 12 as Lakota Black defeated Lakota Red 11-1 for the Ohio 9 Intermediate District Tournament Championship. Jay Miller's 3 run single capped a 4 run third and Eli Ford's 2-run single in the 4-run sixth inning sealed the win. Lakota Black will advance to the Ohio Intermediate State Tournament at Home of the Brave Park in Loveland beginning July 5.
