U10s and U11s Have Championship Seasons!


Congrats to the U10 Incredibles and U11 Gold teams for fantastic fall seasons. The U10s had an undefeated league season and captured 2 tournament championships: the Kaw Valley Cup and CSI. The U11s suffered only 1 defeat in league play and won the Kansas Governor's Cup and U12 Kaw Valley Cup. Awesome job girls!

Best wishes to the U15 QWEST Sparx players,
who will begin their long-awaited high school soccer
careers this spring. We’ve added some great talent
to the team over the years and many of the players
have been together for several seasons.

After two consecutive 2nd place league finishes, the
Sparx capped off their pre-high school club season
with a Heartland league title, conceding on 3 goals in
an undefeated season! It’s been a pleasure to coach
you all!

QWEST Soccer Club Notes:

Game Notes: Jersey colors for weekend games are as follows: SATURDAY - All PURPLE (girls); All BLUE (boys); SUNDAY - WHITE Jerseys and Socks for all. IMPORTANT:  For teams with both color shorts - your short color is opposite of your jersey and sock color. Bring both jerseys to all games!!! 

 

Field Locations / Directions:  To find directions to game fields, visit the league web sites at http://heartlandsoccer.net/1menu_about_us/locations.html.

QWEST Shoe Exchange:  Has your player outgrown their soccer cleats or indoor shoes? If so, join the QWEST Shoe Exchange Program. Save your cleats, donate them to the club and request cleats for your soccer player in return. E-mail Coach Gregg at [email protected] for details.

Player Absences: If your player is going to miss a weekend game, please notify your coach as far in advance as possible, with a phone or e-mail reminder at least one (1) week prior to the date. If your player is going to miss practice, please e-mail or phone your coach 24 hours in advance, if possible. Practice drills are pre-planned based on the anticipated number of players, so please be considerate of your coach.


QWEST players were excited this fall to watch their heroes at the US Women's
National Team game on Sept. 17 at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park.

 
Many QWEST players enjoyed a private youth soccer clinic by Sporting KC players
at their training facility in Swope Park, sponsored by American Family Insurance.

Spring Soccer Season News

 

The weather outside is frightful but the Outdoor Season kicks off in March!

Teams playing in the Heartland Soccer League may begin play on Saturday, March 10th.

About Our Club

QWEST Soccer Club was founded in 2005 and began with four competitive teams. QWEST now has grown to include competitive teams for both boys and girls U6 through high school. The club is located in Kansas City, North and its many teams play in both the KC Metro League and Kansas Heartland League. Under the direction of former Missouri State Coach of the Year, Gregg Hibbeler, the organization is dedicated to developing competitive youth players of all talent levels within an affordable “share player” club system.
