The Washington Junior Cheerleaders is designed to teach young students, ages 5-17, the fundamentals of dance, cheer and performance while promoting teamwork and a positive self-image. Aligning with the ideals of the First Ladies of Football strong sisterhood, the Junior Cheerleader program takes pride in being a part of their legacy. Coached by former cheerleaders and choreographed by current cheerleaders, all Jr Cheerleaders are taught important values for on and off the field. Our Jr Cheerleader Family spands across the DMV area; from northern Maryland down to Virginia Beach and now nationwide as we enter our virtual 2020 Season. All Jr Cheerleaders are required to learn new choreography for each halftime performance. Hard work and determination are essential during practices to make each performance successful. The Junior Cheerleader program offers a unique opportunity to perform with the First Ladies of Football, but most importantly encourages youth to positively represent themselves as a part of the Washington Cheerleader Family.  

2020 VIRTUAL Season includes:

• -individual zoom hangout with a current First Lady of Football
• -Exclusive 2020 Uniform package: performance tank, leggings, bow, practice tee-shirt and poms!
• -Each practice will consist of team warm-up, age appropriate workshops and choreography by the 1st Ladies of Football and Coaches
• -Professionally edited performance videos to share with friends and family
• -New Big/Little program
