The HCSL is located in the Lima area of northwest, Ohio and
is a member of the Ohio North Youth Soccer Association North (OYSAN).
The HCSL was
established in 2005 by a group of coaches, parents and volunteers to provide a
competitive venue for high school teams to compete in the summer. The HCSL originally
began as a U-19 high school level girls league.
Since that time, the league has expanded to include a U-19 high school level
boys league (added in 2009) and a U-15 middle school level girls league (added
in 2008).
The HCSL averages 800 players from 21 different communities
making it one of the largest leagues in Ohio.
The purpose of the HCSL is to
promote the growth of soccer throughout the area, provide opportunities for
