Stafford Soccer Club Recreation Registration is now open for Spring 2012
The Spring 2012 season will begin on March 26, 2012 and conclude on June 16, 2012.

U-11 Boys Team is Looking for Players - Thursday, December 29, 2011


U-11 Boys Travel Team
is recruiting one or two boys for the 2012 spring season.  Team plays in a competitive league (MOSA) on Sunday afternoons, all games played in Ocean and Monmouth Counties.  For details interested boys and parents should contact Coach Bob Lockwood at locksflooring@comcast.net .

 
U-10 Girls Team "Lightning" is Looking for Players - Thursday, December 29, 2011

 Attention Travel Coaches

 ***Spring 2012 Registration fees are due no later than February 15th please advise your teams!*** 
         

MOSA

  1. Coaches make sure you bring the correct breakdown of referee fees for the game, which is available at the MOSA website.
  2. The flight coordinator can not post forfeits or corrections and protests must go through the MOSA secretary, Jess Yeager.
  3. If a game needs to be made up after starting, the time of the halves played must be equal.
  4. Small-sided teams must have the players and their parents sit on the same side of the field.

Travel Report  

  1. If there is a pre-play, the times may change for other games scheduled on that day, so coaches are asked to check the times on the schedule each week
  2. The best day to schedule a pre-play will be Saturdays or Friday all games should be scheduled with Gary well in advance to make sure there will be a field and referees available, 
  3. Please let Tracy know if an Ocean Rec game is rescheduled
  4. Lori gives her permission as Ocean Rec Rep to the coaches to schedule pre-plays or post-plays with Gary as needed.

Code of Conduct

PARENTS, COACHES and PLAYERS............PLEASE READ!!!!!

Below is a link to take you to the the Stafford Township Youth Sports Code of Conduct Form.  This form is required to be read, understood and signed by ALL parents, coaches and players.  It is imperative that everyone who signs this form completely understands what it is saying and the consequences that may result from YOUR actions if you should choose to disobey the Code of Conduct.


"All leagues are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct and to make all participants and their parents aware of the Code of Conduct as well. All coaches, athletes, parents, league officials, and spectators are expected to behave in a manner that reflects respect and good sportsmanship at all times. The ultimate decision concerning appropriate behavior in a game situation shall rest with the certified official(s) working the game. If a certified official requests or directs that a player, coach, parent or spectator leave the playing area, the person is to leave immediately. If a confrontation develops at any time, league officials are encouraged to seek the immediate assistance of the Stafford Township Police Department. Any and all participants in any type of physical confrontation or altercation shall forfeit their privilege of participating in or attending any Stafford Township athletic event for one year in addition to any other penalties imposed by the league or any other agency."

Referee Grade 8 Course

SSC will not be hosting a grade 9 (recreational level) referee course until sometime during the winter months.  If you are interested in a grade 8 referee certificate, please register
