Volunteer Screening Form
It is imperative that each and every adult that is associated with any SAY affiliated organization have a completed SAY Volunteer Application on file with the organization prior to being allowed access to children. This requirement applies to both volunteers and employees.
To complete your volunteer screen, please contact Lori Sebastian at [email protected].
The BAYSA Soccer organization will also be screening all volunteers. Volunteers will have an extensive background check performed through CheckPoint. When you sign up to volunteer, you will be sent a link to provide your personal information. The process will be similar to the SAYSoccer policy.
Parents Code of Conduct
Children’s sports are supposed to be fun for the children. Unfortunately, many parents, fans and coaches don’t realize that their negative actions, whether verbal or nonverbal, can have a lasting adverse effect on children. That is why Bethel Area Youth Soccer has adopted the CODE OF CONDUCT for parents and spectators to abide by at every game, whether home or away. Parents, fans and coaches who follow this simple code can help reinforce what sports are all about…… KIDS HAVING FUN! The essential elements of character building and ethics in sports are embodied in the concept of sportsmanship and six core principles: TRUSTWORTHINESS, RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, FAIRNESS, CARING, and GOOD CITIZENSHIP.
