AC Cugini Codes of Conduct



Players and Parents

Each player and on of their parents must read and sign the following AC Code of Conduct when they first join AC Cugini, or register for new year, and submit to AC Cugini's Registration Coordinator: [email protected]. The Code of Conduct is included in all registration packets and downloadable at link below:

Players

  • I will conduct myself with honor and dignity at all times.
  • will not use foul or offensive language.
  • I will always be fair no matter the outcome.
  • I will know and obey the laws of the game.
  • I will work for the good of the team, including attending all team practices and games. I will notify my coach of any absences.
  • I will be a good teammate to all players on my team. I will remember that every player is an important part of the team.
  • I will support and encourage my teammates.
  • I will accept the decisions of the officials with grace.
  • I will be generous when my team wins and graceful when we lose.
  • I will treat my coaches, other players, officials, and fans with respect and I will expect to be treated accordingly.
  • I will never encourage, condone or participate in any activities that may intentionally injure players/spectators, or damage soccer facilities.
  • I will do my very best in school.
  • I will not use any illegal substances.
  • I will follow all US Club Soccer, US Youth Soccer, VYSA, MYSYA, AC Cugini, Roma Academy Maryland, and travel league rules.


Parents

 

 

  • I will conduct myself with honor and dignity at all times.
  • I will always be fair no matter the outcome.
  • I will know and obey the laws of the game.
  • I will work for the good of my child’s team.
  • I will accept the decisions of the officials with grace.
  • I will be generous when my child’s team wins and graceful when they lose.
  • I will let team members play without interruption from me and I will remember that I am not a player on the team.
  • I will support my child’s team, coaches, and representative by discussing issues privately with team officials off the field.
  • I will answer emails from team and club officials promptly and will notify my child’s coach of any absences.
  • I will never encourage, condone or participate in any activities that may result in injuries to players and spectators, or result in damage to soccer facilities.
  • I will develop and encourage an appreciation of the game of soccer.
  • I will support the soccer community.
  • I  will meet all financial obligations to my child’s team as well as to AC Cugini / Roma Academy Maryland as specified on the registration form I submitted even if my child leaves an AC Cugini team at any time before the program year is completed..
  • I will follow all US Club Soccer, US Youth Soccer, VYSA, MYSYA, AC Cugini, Roma Academy Maryland, and travel league rules..

  • I will respect the players on my team and on other teams.
  • I will be generous when my team wins and graceful when they lose.
  • I will promote growth and development in a positive and supportive manner.
  • I will nurture good sportsmanship and fair play by teaching and personally demonstrating my commitment to these virtues.
  • I will insist on the highest respect for soccer officials by players, parents, and fans.
  • As a head coach, I understand I am responsible for the behavior of my team’s assistants, parents, and fans at League games.
