Saints 99 Win Inaugural Game for Ethos Soccer

Congratulations to the Ethos FC Saints 99 U14 Boys on winning the inaugural game for the club. The boys faced off against Cap FC and walked away with a 3-0 victory. The boys played with only 11 players but were able to control the tempo of the game from beginning to end. Rhys Kennedy would be the first Ethos player to score a goal on a breakaway and would add another one off a corner kick assist from Adam Beauchamp. Jamison Waugh would also put one in the net with a nice half-volley from the top of the box. Cole Tilley and the defensive line would tally the first of what will surely be many shutouts.

"It’s always nice to start the season off with a win, but when you know that your team became the first team to play, win, keep a clean sheet, and score 3 goals for a new club, it feels something special. The lads played extremely well in difficult weather conditions and deserve to be written into the history books.", noted Head Coach Martin Roberts.
