Girls Team Tryouts
In 2012 Italian professional club RES Roma Calcio Femminile (www.romafemminile.it), the women’s side of powerhouse AS Roma, approached Fabio Diletti to develop an all girls soccer academy in the United States and serve as its Technical Director. In 2013, AC Cugini developed RES Roma USA, the first organization in America to be affiliated with a professional Italian women’s soccer club.  The objective of the all girls academy is to strengthen female player development to prepare athletes for high school play, college level play, or play at the professional level in the United States or Italy. RES Roma USA members ages 17 and older have the opportunity to live and play professional soccer in Italy and, if they choose, also attend the University of Roma, at ½ the cost of U.S. colleges and universities. All players will receive guidance on retaining U.S. college/university athletic scholarship status.

Cancellation Notices

We also cancel practices last minute or after a tryout begins whenever there is thunder and lightening.

AC Cugini 11-Month Travel Program

The annual AC Cugini travel team tuition fee for those players enrolled in AC Cugini's 11-month program (August 1, 2013 to June 15, 2014) includes AC Cugini club fees (fall and spring), professional training (summer, fall, winter, spring); goalkeeper training year round; travel league games (fall & spring); travel league fees (fall and spring); insurance; VYSA and US Youth Soccer membership; all Fairfax County field use fees.

The annual tuition fee NEVER increases over the course of the 11-month program and is prorated for players joining an AC Cugini team mid year. Therefore, there are no surprise fees after a player joins an AC Cugini team which allows parents to make an informed decision about affording the program fees BEFORE they register their child. There are also no extra "conditioning" or "cross- training" fees as the Italian Olympic Committee sanctioned training included in the program provides all the conditioning a player needs during their regular practices.

Scholarships, Financial Assistance, Payment Arrangements
AC Cugini is committed to working with every family to make this opportunity available to all qualified players on our travel teams. Scholarships are available to players who are residents of Fairfax County and have illustrated financial need. The scholarship tuition fee for the 11-month program is $700 (does not include the uniform fee) and may be paid in 11 monthly installments. Assistance is available to all players who require alternate payment arrangements. Those paying the full $1900 tuition fee for the 11-month program may make one annual payment when they join the team or pay in 4 or more installments. Parents may contact AC Cugini's Executive Director at any time to discuss financial issues: executivedirector@cuginisoccer.com
