College Q&A Wrapup

Saturday at the Finneytown LaRosa's was a great success! In attendance: Rudy Argueta - men's soccer coach at Mt. St. Joe's, Bill Raines - assistant men's coach at Wittenberg University, Katie Murphy - financial advisor from MASS Mutual ([email protected]). A current MSJ player and a current STAR SC player (Collin Mason) also spoke about their experiences with college recruiting.

Topics covered included:

academic courses, time management and study requirements
training and schedule differences between high school and college
ID camps
recruitment process
the DO's and DON'T's of contacting a college coach
planning ahead financially for college and ways to seek out additional financial relief

Looking forward to our next college night - we are planning on having another one late fall 2017!
