BCYSA Recreational Information

(for details, please visit our FAQ page)

BCYSA is the oldest recreational soccer program in Bay County. We have been established for over 25+ years.

Our recreational program is intended to promote youth soccer through participation, player development, friendship, and fun. Players participate in a minimum of two practices a week and eight games throughout the season. Players receive at least 50% playing time during games.* Team sizes are limited to ensure adequate playing opportunity. Our goal is to develop players so they will continue to enjoy soccer and be successful at it.

Cost is $75 for recreational ages 3-18 before the deadline. Late registration is $95 and is open until the second game of the season.

Registration includes: Jersey, shorts, socks, and end of season award.

How to Register

You need to go to create an account, add your player, and then register the player for the correct age division. The website will only give you the divisions your player is eligible for according to their age.

Birth certificate verification required of all players.

All new players to the club must bring, mail, or email a copy of their birth certificate to BCYSA. Players registering online will not play until the b/c is verified by the BCYSA registrar. REFUNDS will not be given to players that cannot produce a birth certificate.

Age Grouping
The lower age must be reached and the higher age not exceeded prior to August 1st of the current "playing year", as it is used here, will commence on August 1st and end July 31st.
Exceptions:
1. For Fall season play, player who turn three (3) years old prior to August 1st of the "playing year" may participate in the BCYSA program.
2. A player may play in the next older division if and only if a parent volunteers his/her time as head coach and will be at every practice and game for the duration of the season or until the player has reached the age limit for that division according to BCYSA.

Player Pre-Placement
Players will be limited to the head coach's children or one designee, the child of up to two assistant coaches, and the child of the team's sponsor. The Head coach must identify his/her assistants on the application.

NO refunds after the season begins.

PLEASE remember coaches pick the day, time, and practice location for their team. Requests to play together are subject to approval and are not guaranteed. BCYSA’s ability to satisfy all requests will also depend on the numbers and combinations of players signed up in each area for each age group.
