Portland’s U9 Boys Red Raptors travel soccer team finished their season with a tough 2-1 loss to Bristol. Despite being shorthanded most of the game, Portland was only down 2-0 going into the second half. Evan Kowalchik found the back of the net with an amazing goal with ten minutes left to play, but Bristol’s solid defense prevented any comeback hopes in this exciting match. Coaches Anton Trojanowski, Evan Yardis and Mike Kowalchik praised the team for playing one of their best overall games of the season. In their first year together, The Red Raptors finished with a winning record and all three coaches are excited to see what the soccer future holds for this amazing group of boys.
