Players from the Elite Academy's U18 Boys team were recognized with top honors at the St. Pauls High School Athletic Awards Banquet on Tuesday night.

3 players from the Elite Academy FC's U18 team earned special recognition, taking home the top awards on the night.

Anthony Espinosa took home the Golden Boot award for the most goals on the season, with a total of 11 goals.  Espinosa also was awarded with All Conference and All Region honors by the North Carolina Soccer Coaches Association.

Erik Perez took home the MVP trophy award of the night, as well as the Silver Boot award for most assists on the season.  Perez also notched All Conference and All Region Honors as well.

Steven Brown, a defender and GK for the Elite Academy, took home the distinguished "Leader of Men" certificate for his leadership skills he displayed on the team throughout the 2015 season.  He was also recognized on the 2nd team All Conference team, eventhough no awards were given for that on the night.

Congratulations to all these young men for their hard work during the high school season and their work during the off-season playing club soccer.  Their hard work and dedication has paid off in the end for all these young men.
