Congratulations to Kirkwood's newly licensed coaches, Diego Ruiz, Roberto Gimenez, Tara O'Brien and Kwame Appiah pictured above with course instructors Mike Kleinert and Graham Ramsay.

The course was run at the Kirkwood complex last weekend with candidates from different states attending.

Coaching education is an important aspect of player development and University of Delaware coach and Kirkwood Boys Director of coaching Ian Hennessy was the first to offer praise to the coaches, "Developing young coaches is as important as developing young players.  If our coaches are to educate young players, they must start by educating themselves. Obtaining licenses is one element that I am pushing our our coaches to spend time on, and I am thrilled that this process has already started."
