THE COUGAR SOCCER CLUB PROGRAM DIVISION #1 SPRING PROGRAM FOR GRADES 9TH -11TH
The Cougar Soccer Club has provided the local community with a travel youth soccer program for over 40 years. As a self-funded, charitable, not-for-profit organization of parent volunteers, the club promotes youth soccer that is geared for the player who wants to learn, train and play at the very highest levels of competition.
The club has begun accepting applications for the U15-U17 Cougar SC Spartans.
Consistent with the club’s mission statement, “To create an environment where each player can achieve their full soccer potential and to encourage the growth of the individual & community,” the club will offer a spring program to players Grades 9 thru 11that are interested in a year round playing experience upon the conclusion of the NJ interscholastic season.
Each team will be professionally trained by professional trainer. They are very familiar with the boys and will provide excellent guidance and leadership as the players develop their soccer skills.
Practices are twice a week with games on Sunday’s. Dues pay for league registration, uniforms, club dues, trainers’ expenses, 3 pro-coached games and referee fees. Because the roster is limited to Maplewood/South Orange community, proof of residency will be required at the time of registration. Total Spring Registration fees are $450.00. Any additional training costs for winter & additional spring practices, tournament participation and associated travel expenses will need to be covered by the families.
