It's with mixed emotions that I write to you today to pass along the news that our long-time Executive Director Brad Roos has decided it's time to take another role with the Club running our Tournaments and giving him more time with his family. Brad started at the Club in 1981 as a girls coach. He coached for 28 years at BSC, and won two national championships with girls teams in 2003 and 2007. He held the role of Executive Director for 4 years which included many wonderful achievements including growing our Premier Cup tournament to one of the most successful events of its kind on the national youth soccer calendar. This new role will leave Brad to manage this great event as well as others, but also allow for more time with his wonderful wife Vickie, as well as his children Samantha (who currently coaches in the club) and Danielle, and granddaughter Peyton who all deserve to see him a lot more. Please join me in thanking Brad for all he's done. For BSC it's certainly a loss, but like any change it also brings opportunity. We'll launch an Executive Director national search immediately. Brad will remain in the position until we hire our new executive director. As always, thanks for your support. All the best and go BSC!
